Heal Your Body With Phytoplankton

It’s called Marine Phytoplankton. And it’s making its way into daily conversation, although slowly. But these microscopic plants are capable of delivering a great deal of nutrition to the human body. And they are being reported to be helping people’s own bodies fight off diseases and illness.

Hippocrates is quoted as saying, “Let thy food be thy medicine, and thy medicine be thy food.” Phytoplankton provides many, and possibly all of the trace elements humans need to maintain balance in our bodies. Balance and well-being is our natural state.

The elements and electrolytes in plankton are well suited to the makeup for the body. Our bodies require the trace elements and micronutrients and that are found in marine phytoplankton. It is very interesting that when you examine make up of human plasma, you will discover that it is very similar to that of seawater. The body is designed to heal and repair itself. But it must be given the proper tools to do so. By not providing the body access to certain compounds that it needs, it will begin to function in a non-optimal way. And if you continue to allow it to function this way, it will begin to grow ill, and then disease has the ability to set in.

The reason that you may not have heard of phytoplankton yet is because it is essentially a food. And big pharmaceutical companies cannot patent a food. With no financial incentive for them to spend the vast sums of money required to run testing and trials, they won’t, since they’ll be no ability to make a profit at the end.

Where does phytoplankton come from? Scientists will tell you that 3 1/2 billion years ago, these tiny organisms (the size of a red blood cell) appeared. They had the ability to convert sunlight, water with its minerals, into proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and amino acids, and thus sparked the beginning of life. Today, human-grade phytoplankton is grown in state-of-the-art facilities under strict controls and monitoring.

These tiny organisms, single-cell plants are the basis of all other life forms on planet earth. Phytoplankton are also responsible for making up to some 80% of the Earth’s oxygen (not the trees, like many think). They are the foundation of the food chain. Consuming this vegetation of the sea is the ultimate in ‘getting back to basics’.

These non-widely known organisms provide essential life support to the planet, and us.
Eaten by the ton by the worlds largest and longest living mammals and sea creatures. Blue whales and Bowhead whales eat plankton. They can live between 80 and 150 years old while maintaining their great strength and endurance. The largest fish is a plankton eating whale shark that lives for over 150 years, can grow as big as 40 feet in length, weigh as much as 15 tons, and often remain sexually active until the end of its life.

To maximize the greatest benefits from phytoplankton, humans should consume 1 to 2 grams of pure plankton (available in powder form) mixed in water or non-acidic juice.
